Maps & Apps Contest


Submissions are now being accepted for the annual "Maps & Apps" Contest. Winners will be announced at the closing general session on Wednesday, May 17. Details can be found on the Maps & Apps Contest page.  Deadline for entries is Friday, April 28!

The County GIS Professionals Association of Pennsylvania honors an individual, county, department or group for their commitment to GIS at the county level and/or their dedication to the goal of improving geospatial practices in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

PaMAGIC Excellence Award

 
Each year PaMAGIC recognizes an individual or organization that has contributed greatly to the promotion or advancement of GIS in Pennsylvania with their Excellence Award. Established in 2009, the presentation of this award is a highlight of the annual Conference. The 2016 Excellence Award was presented to Eric Jespersen in recognition of his life-long devotion, dedication and commitment to volunteer and non-profit organizations like PaMAGIC. He has led by example, with steadfastness and limitless energy. Eric has been pivotal in the creation and formation of Pennsylvania’s State Geospatial Coordinating Board and numerous initiatives of PaMAGIC that are aimed at providing the citizens of the Commonwealth with quality geospatial resources.
